  • What experience and education does John Sherritt have?

    Sorrento Advisors is owned and operated by John Sherritt. He has over 25 years of experience in the real estate development industry. From 1990 to 2004, Mr. Sherritt acted as the president of Sherritt Development Services, Inc., a consulting company that provided a broad range of real estate services to development companies, financial institutions, land owners, builders, joint venture equity partners, investment bankers, accounting firms, and law firms. Mr. Sherritt also has a Bachelor of Science degree and Masters Degree in City Planning.


    Mr. Sherritt has worked on or is currently working on various community projects. These include Emerald Acres, a master planned community of 657 housing units distributed between 5 distinct communities; 476 Broadway, a 313 unit mixed use community; PonteBello, a 428 unit seniors community; and San Pacifico, a 400 lot master planned community. He utilized his architectural design and civil engineering expertise in projects like the North Coast Calvary Chapel and Commercial Center & Fire Station projects.
